On June 13, Angolan state news agency reported. The Ministry of Territorial Administration of the Angolan government, on behalf of the government, submitted a database of valid voter information to the National Electoral Commission. A total of 14,399,391 citizens have the right to vote in this year's general election.

The Minister of Territorial Administration highlighted overseas voter registration. Due to the restrictions imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic, only 12 countries have registered overseas. Among them, the focus is on South Africa, Congo (DRC), Zambia, Brazil and Portugal, the above-mentioned countries. There is a large Angolan diaspora. The Minister also thanked the other ministries and the Angolan Air Force for their support, which made the voter registration completed with the concerted efforts of all Angolan people.

The fifth general election in Angola's history will be held on August 24. Since June 6, the general election process has been launched.
