According to the "Angola Daily", the 36th Luanda International Exhibition (FILDA) will reopen from November 16 to 20, which coincides with the 46th anniversary of the independence of Angola.

FILDA was not held last year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 2021 was originally scheduled to be held from September 28th to October 2nd. However, according to the recommendations of the Angolan authorities, the organizers decided to postpone the date, taking into account the gradual opening of the economy. Companies and tourists can participate more.

The Angolan government changed its preventive measures against Covid-19 on September 1, ending Luanda’s epidemic prevention fence and compulsory isolation of citizens from abroad, and providing a complete vaccination certificate.

The organizers of FILDA wrote: "Several measures are being considered at the end of September, such as opening up airspace and increasing international flights for all companies, so as to gradually open up all economic activities."

The last FILDA was held in 2019, with representatives from 21 countries. This year, Arena Group, the initiator of the event, once again chose the Special Economic Zone (ZEE) to host the exhibition. It has received participation intentions from Portugal, Germany, South Korea, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Belarus.
